"After an earthquake strikes, two ceramic rabbits try to rebuild their shattered home, the task forcing them to confront the fear of being broken."
About
Ceramic Rabbit is a 3D animated short film produced by the University of Central Florida's 2022 Character Animation cohort. I, along with a group of 15 talented artists worked extremely hard to bring this to life.
Process
I was fully involved in the pipe line of this film, since the very early story pitch to development, storyboarding, layout, concept art, 3D Modeling, Layout, Texturing, Animation, Rendering, Compositing, and Effects!
I was the Environment lead on Ceramic Rabbit and was responsible for bringing our vision to life in terms of set dressing and world-building.
I was also Co Texture Lead, which went hand in hand with being Environment lead, I was able to better create an environment that stayed true to the vision we wanted.
In both leadership positions I had a huge responsibility to deliver an environment to the team after any texture or asset update was done.
I was also responsible for creating style guides to exemplify the look we wanted and to provide clear and efficient feedback to texture artists in order to maintain the look and consistency of the film.
